With just over two weeks before I leave the comfort of everything I know and love, I’m feeling extremely stressed and extremely excited! Believe it or not, I actually have one suitcase packed already, which is rare. Typically, I wait until a few days before I leave to pack everything. With being away at college though, I don’t have much time to prepare for this trip.
So many people have been asking me if I’m nervous. At the moment, I’m really not. I truly believe I’m on the path I’m meant to be on. After my breakdown a few weeks ago, I had some sort of revelation, and now I feel strangely closer and more connected to the universe than ever before. It sounds insane, I know. I really can’t explain it though, so please don’t ask.
I am truly so thankful for this opportunity to teach English in Thailand. It couldn’t be done without the support of my family and friends, so thank you. And a special thank you to my Thai friend, Ari, for telling me EVERYTHING I need to know before I go!
Also, I may or may not attempt to vlog while I’m there, so I’ll keep you all updated on that. I’ve tried journaling on my trips, but I tend to get lazy and not keep up with it, so fingers crossed I can learn how to edit videos and be comfortable in front of the camera (and keep up with it)!
This will most likely be the last post before I go, because I’m finding myself pressed for time lately. So, the next time you hear from me, I’ll probably be in Thailand! How exciting!!!
Cheers to new beginnings!
