Mental Health Break

As you’ve probably noticed, I was missing for quite some time. If I’m being honest, I was struggling with a recent diagnosis (nothing too serious, pinky promise), mental illness, and high amounts of stress and anxiety. With my extreme lack of motivation, I stopped writing. It was a difficult decision, but I knew it needed to be done.

If you read my last blog post, you know that I went to England to interview with some universities, in hopes that I’d be able to finish my degree there. Long story short, things didn’t really work out. So, I’ll be spending the coming months at home and figuring out what to do next, whether that be staying at home to finish my degree or trying for England again next year.

Even though the last few months have been awful, they’ve also been a learning experience, and I couldn’t be more thankful for that.

  1. This happens to me too. I always know that I need to work on my mental and physical well being when I no longer have the energy to write. I’m glad you’re taking the time you need to make a new plan and hope that you’re back on track soon. Take care of yourself!
